Mount Cook

Day 4: We have been travelling for 4 days already and we left ChCh this day bound for Lake Tekapo in a first time then Mount Cook. The first stop was in Ashburton just the time to give the wheel to dad and pray to stay alive up to Lake Tekapo. No surprises...

Aoraki/Mt. Cook, Lake Pukaki, Lake Ohau, Omarama, Lake Benmore, Lake Aviemore, Lake Waitaki

Cloking out at 1am at McDonald's and switching on my alarm at 8.30 am to enjoy my 3 days off. This was the way my weekend started. En route for Aoraki/Mount Cook. The trip lasted 2 hours and a half. Several tracks are available to see this famous Mount....

Timaru et Waimate

Got up at 7.00 am to go to Timaru. After about one hour of driving, I reached this city of about 45 000 people including the outer suburbs. That's another victorian city, second largest city after ChCh in the Canterbury. That's a important port as well....
